Franck Dubosc (Barbecue, AF FFF2015) is a screen-comedy fixture for French audiences but, until now, he’s only appeared in front of the camera. Rolling to You sees him taking on the dual role of lead actor and director for the first time, in a move that has attracted more than two million people to the box office and one that also reveals his hidden talent as a romantic lead.
Jocelyn (Franck Dubosc) is a serial liar who relishes in the thrill of it all. He is also a womaniser who will never let the truth get between him and a potential love interest. However, he is caught off-guard when a pretty caregiver mistakes him for being a paraplegic. When he eventually falls in love with her sister, Florence (Alexandra Lamy, Ricky, AF FFF2010; and opening night film of AF FFF2014, The Finishers), Jocelyn finds himself entangled in a complex web of lies.
With Dubosc’s comedic flair showcased to the fullest effect, it’s not difficult to see why Gallic audiences have flocked to Rolling to You – an entertaining mix of hilarity with more than its fair share of sweet, heart-warming romance. It will have you smiling from ear to ear and rolling in the aisles with laughter.
